This place is so neat. There is a lot of information to read, and the audio your is definitely worth it. I wouldn’t recommend bringing younger kids if you really want to learn/read everything: it took my hubby and I about five hours to go through the whole thing and we skipped a few info boards. There are a lot of learning opportunities. I definitely recommend the audio tour and trying to figure out where the jewel is. Over great value for the money, but definitely dedicate more than 3 hours if you want to see everything.

Really neat museum with a lot of interesting things inside. There was a lot more artifacts inside than I imagined there would be. Well worth the money and worth the visit. Definitely be sure you've got plenty of time since there's so much to read and look at. I highly recommend getting there early. We got there right at opening time and there was already a decent line.

Really neat museum with a lot of interesting things inside. There was a lot more artifacts inside than I imagined there would be. Well worth the money and worth the visit. We spent about 2-3 hours here. I would highly recommend buying tickets ahead of time and getting there early. We got there right at opening time and there was already a decent line. Every time we drove past there was a line out the door

This was by far one of the best museums I've ever been to. It's not just only about Alcatraz, it has alot of other different exhibits in there as well. This museum is definitely worth the money, and if you bring your children, I recommend paying the extra $10 and getting the V.I.P experience, it comes with an audio player as well as an interactive booklet. Once you complete the booklet, you'll get a prize at the end of your tour. The museum is move at your own pace, and you'll need a good 2-3 hours to really enjoy it. It has a really nice 9/11 Memorial. I'd advice buying your tickets online, the line to get in, is often long at times.

Honestly, one of the best experiences for ANYONE with a fascination with crime. They literally start at the beginning of crime and work their way to today. I spent an upwards of almost 3 hours here and still feel like there’s so much more to see. It’s definitely worth it! Also, the only reason I gave 4 stars is literally because of the parking. You may have to park a little far, but the museum is all worth it.
