Beck Cultural Exchange Center is the place “Where African American History & Culture Are Preserved.” The Beck Center was established in 1975 with a mission that has remained unchanged. The Beck Center is a an African American teaching and learning museum and as well as a cultural center that serves as a State of Tennessee designated primary repository of black history and culture in the City of Knoxville and throughout East Tennessee.
Beck Cultural Exchange Center is a beautiful historic facility, with a vast collection of Permanent and Feature Exhibits. While Permanent Exhibits are always on display, Feature Exhibits are available for a limited time as they are rotated throughout the year. Please See All That Our Museum Has to Offer:
