What a wonderfully small and intimate venue! I had never been to this place but I cannot wait until the next show I can come to! The people were nice, the staff were extremely friendly, and the venue itself is quite lovely. Love the balcony area!

I’m not at all familiar with this area of Knoxville but there was a show I couldn’t miss at the Bijou theater. It’s a nice little place honestly. I can’t speak to the bar situation since I didn’t purchase anything but there were bars and restrooms on both floors. The seats were comfy. We could see the show great from the balcony. I’m used to GA shows so the ushers shining flashlights to help people to their seats was distracting but that’s a me problem not them. It’s really beautiful inside, I had a good experience. There’s a parking garage right across the street too which is cool.

I was honored to have been one of the dancers in Circle Modern Dance's very recent 30th anniversary performance, "One Continuous Motion," at the Bijou. What a gorgeous venue, run by such gracious people!
This beautiful, historical theatre is a treat for performers and audience members alike to experience!

We always enjoy our visits at the Bijou! It’s such a beautiful theater and the sound is incredible! We always enjoy a wonderful meal at their cafe, before a show. We host a TN Songwriters Qualifying Round in Cleveland, TN each year and two of our finalists are chosen to perform in the Showcase Round at the Bijou. This year it was Brandy Robison and Fawley (Corbin and Caroline Fawley). We also enjoyed Tyson Leamon perform! He was a winner in our Qualifying Round last year, won the Showcase at the Bijou and went on to perform at the Bluebird Cafe. As last year’s winner, he was asked to be a guest performer this year.

Great, historical theater with impressive acoustics. Wish the management company hosted local groups instead of only offering rental options. Theater offers many different genres of theatrical performances.
