This old plantation house, built in the early 19th century, offers an peek into antebellum life in Knoxville. Some of the furnishing are original to the house, but all the furniture and decor are authentic to the period. The terraced grounds slope down to the Tennessee River are beautiful -- especially in Spring with the tulips in bloom -- and the house can be used as a lovely venue for weddings and parties.
General Admission to tour the house museum and gardens is $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge. A $2.00 discount on an Adult admission is given to AAA, AARP, & Knox Heritage members.
For groups of twenty or more. Guests will take a tour of the house museum and gardens as well as enjoy a delicious catered lunch. Customizable menus are available to satisfy group needs. For more information on Group Tours, contact our Event Coordinator.
