Visited from Texas on a Friday in August. Arrived about 9:30 AM. Parking attendant was nice and helpful. Park entrance greeters were welcoming and friendly. All lifeguards were energetic and courteous. I needed to visit the first aid room and they offered quick and helpful service. Plenty of chairs, the lines for the rides were not long at all, after 3 PM the longest wait was only 30 minutes. The lines for food were also not long at all, took about 5-8minutes total to wait and receive our food. Restrooms were as clean as they can be for a waterpark. Our overall experience was amazing, our kids and ourselves had lots of fun!

Had a really nice time at Splash country this last Monday. Park was packed even on a Monday. The park itself is a little old and slides are discolored but super fun. Parking is so convenient. You do not need to shuttle or anything. Parking is like a 3 min walk from the entrance (parking $25 per car). My son loved the family raft ride (they try and persuade you to ride with strangers to fill the raft in full) we rode with some other families we had met (was not an issue). Cost of the ticket was great $54.95 including free lunch adult and $44.95 including a free lunch for a kid. Considering that each meal is between $12-20 a person, I thought this was super reasonable and a good value. We spent 6 hours in the park and had a really good time. Super touristy area so be prepared to wait up to 35-40 min for one raft ride/ tube slide. We still had a blast and would absolutely be back.

Recommend a canopy & refillable cup. Wish we would have known the park extended further back. Didn’t get to see it all. Food was REALLY expensive for ok food. Employees were all very nice except 1 that wouldn’t let my daughter ride. She rode ALL the rides (tall enough…barely) but this girl refused to let her on one of the slides. Witnessed an employee even correcting some teens trying to cut in line. Very appropriate. Loved to see that. Will return! I did NOT like that I couldn’t reserve a canopy ahead of time online. Oh! And reserve by the wave pool if you have kids old enough to go in there!

I did like Splash County, their food, and water rides. That was until it became more and more crowded.
The got in first thing in the morning and after finding seating we went straight to the water coaster thinking that was going to be the longest wait if we did go there first. We did get on quickly but I don't think that ride got a very long wait throughout the day. Next we went to a tube ride that was supposed to fit up to 4 people. Well we fit but not comfortably. There were knees, ankles, and shins everywhere. I don't think any of us left without a bruise and the wait was about 40 minutes and this was within 30 minutes of opening!
I love lazy rivers and I really liked this one except they don't limit the amount of people or tubes in the river so it wasn't as fun always bumping into someone or being surrounded by tubes. The life guards also do nothing to control rowdy kids that are running around the lazy river like lunatics.
At first I liked the idea of tubes in the wave pool until I saw how crowded and it gets. The music which is always loud at wave pools was insanely loud here. We had to scream in each other's ears to say anything. I had a splitting headache in 15 minutes and had to leave.
There is one water racer ride in the front of the park that I think not a lot of people are aware of so it's good to go there for a short wait. The rest of the park gets crazy busy really fast so make sure you have a good spot to sit and relax because you will be there most of the day.
The food here was better than expected for a water park. I especially loved the beaver tails and Smoky Mountain nachos.
More bathrooms would also be appreciated.
