This place is pretty great. The food is good, the drinks are cold, the staff is usually friendly.
Dinner with my wife and friends on a Saturday night. We got on wait list via Yelp. Went in a double checked wait and host's states they aren't using the app. So she placed us on list. Hour and half later we were seated. We ordered app's and drinks. No silverware presented had to ask for it. Then ordered main dish waited 40 min for 3 burgers and a club (requested white bread) received wheat and was told no white bread after we asked why it's on wheat? Manager not very pleasant said we should have said my wife was allergic vs someone coming to table and saying they were out of white bread. If our mixed drink and burger not delicious we would have just left. May try again at later date.
Dogs are allowed at the outdoor seating.

Wyatt our server was so nice. He just started working here and gave us great service. This is a great place to go after being at the Tennessee Theatre. We used our Lifestyle Pocket Saver Dining Card and went here because it was one of those restaurants listed. The food was excellent! Mark the manager talked to us and we got some insight into how hard restaurants are being hit by the price of food etc. We will go back again. Atmosphere was comfortable. It’s a beautiful old bldg with lovely restored floors.

Cute little place downtown. Nice bar and ambiance. Nachos were good. Fish and chips not so much unfortunately. Beer was good. Great selection too! I’ll give it another try when back in town.

Amazing food in a great atmosphere, usually. I’ve frequented the Downtown Grill and Brewery for years. I am a die hard fan of their jumbo tater skins, fish and chips, and Durango chicken. This time I decided to order a Caesar salad with smoked wings. The Caesar salad wasn’t very big for a full sized salad and only came with 5 croutons. The smoked wings, as you can see in the picture, are overdone and pulling back from the bone quite a bit. The flavoring was great, but the meat dry and tough. Overall still a restaurant/brewery worth giving a try if you never have.

My wife, Daughter, and I really enjoyed dinner with a table outdoors. I really enjoyed the shrimp skewers with Cajun seasoning, steamed broccoli, and the mashed potatoes with bacon and blue cheese. And did I mention the beers? A really nice dinner in downtown Knoxville.
