Now called Briggs Brothers Ranch, this unique getaway boasts private cabin accommodations and an authentic ranch ambience. I really enjoyed my stay! From the peaceful mornings to the mountain views and all the way to the cute pig and horses, this ranch has a lot to offer. They are currently building a winery and restaurant. I look forward to returning on my next visit!

This place was everything my wife and I were looking for and more! Coming from crowded Florida we came to the mountains to get away and relax while we scoped out the area for a new home. Now I will say the road in is pretty tight the first time you cruise down it but to end up in the beautiful setting its completely understandable. The view from the rocking chairs just outside the door to the lodging was breathtaking. Every morning it seemed new and I was happy to sip my coffee and just take it all in. The staff all treated us like family telling us all we could do and even left out treats for us to give to the horses and my new friend Kevin Bacon (the pig). The whole experience was just relaxing and refreshing and everyone from the workers to the owners (who we met and were very friendly and happy to take a few minutes to chat) were truly wonderful and just kept asking if there was anything else they could do to make our stay better. We came looking to get away from the world and relax and couldn't have found a better spot.

We had a family reunion here and booked the enire lodge. Positives: Enough private rooms for our entire family. Pet friendly They made delicious pizzas for us and had them waiting for us our 1st night. Kind staff Negatives: We learned just because the staff is nice, doesn't mean they should be running a business. Sadly, they over promised and under delivered. We were guarenteed we would not need to leave the property because we would be able to horse back ride and use the pool. The pool was closed our entire stay and we got the run around the entire time about horseback riding which sadly never happened. These were 2 of the 3 reasons we decided to stay there. We ended up having to leave the property each day to find other things to do. One morning they shut off the water to the entire Lodge without informing us it would be happening. None of us could shower, brush our teeth, use the restroom or make breakfast for a period of time. We were also told that no one else would be in the Lodge since we rented out the entire spot for our family. One of the owners walked in with other guests and gave them a tour of the Lodge while we were eating meal together. We would have just appreciated a head's up as it was awkward. They apologized over the pool being closed, and the horse back riding not working out and told us they wanted to make it right and offer us a partial refund. Once we left the property, they never responded to my emails again and did not give us a refund that they offered. Also, heads up, the kitchen is not fully stocked, so plan on bringing everything you need to cook including a can opener. The room was not build orginally to be a kitchen so there is no oven vent and the room gets very hot very quickly. It was a shame as I feel the place has so much potential, but we would never stay there again. It was overall a quite disappointing experience.

This was my third stay at Meadow Creek. I brought my son and a friend to go trail riding over the Memorial Day Weekend. We arrived late Friday evening and Rachel met us at the barn in the dark and had stalls ready for our horses so we could settle them in quickly. She helped us get settled in our room as well. Saturday and Sunday morning we had delicious breakfast in the cafe. This place is a hidden gem and is a great place to disconnect and explore the trails. You can ride out to several trails right from the ranch or you can trailer out 20-30 minutes to beautiful places like Wolf Creek Falls.

Absolutely loved staying here. It's nothing fancy but very clean and comfy. Everyone was super. They have a cafe where you can eat dinner with the local people after a long drive. I was traveling with my horse and I'll go back when I can stay longer and check out the trails. PS plan your trip so that you get there in daylight! Roads are Tennessee narrow .
