At first, I thought I wouldn't like this place. The soda was flat and the water tastes like old pipes. However, the food was good. Liked the Ham Stake and the County Fried Stake. Pancakes had a wonderful taste but were not light and fluffy. It's a good place to go if you're on a budget. The service was fantastic. I wanted to put 4 stars because the staff was so friendly and attentive. However, the food was just good and didn't stand out, so couldn't bring myself to give them more than 3 stars.

The food was great. I loved the country fried steak breakfast. When I couldn't decide what I wanted, the server was happy to offer to allow me to make changes to the meals offered on the menu. I don't usually do that, but she insisted it was just fine. And it came out quickly and correct. We were a party of 4 and everyone was pleased with their meals and enjoyed them.
It was off season mid week and not at all busy though I have heard it can be during the tourist season.

Great hospitality, fair prices, large dining area, ample parking. The dining area was pretty cold, but that's ok. Loved the antique tractors, piano with stained glass, and all the decorations. Music was a little loud, but the tunes were good.

I got there about 9:00 on a Saturday... I was seated right away!. Shortly thereafter the place started to fill up. Renee was my server... Super friendly. Had the blueberry pancakes which was enough for two people and some extra crispy bacon which was delicious!
