Played the Rivers course! Loved the layout! The island holes was awesome! Can't wait to come back. Only thing is the price. It cost me almost 100 bucks to play 18 and my girlfriend ride. In all it was a great experience. The starter told you about holes with blind spots.
I played a round of golf at the club in August, when I was in town on vacation in town from Ohio. My entire experience was spectacular. The hospitality and vibe from the entire team was that it was a PLEASURE every time that guests visited to play. I played 18 on the River course, and my gosh, the course was epic. The conditions for a warm season were just so plump and great. The one thing that I wish that I could have done is to have gotten a shirt or hat with the Club logo on it. I would absolutely pay to have one shipped to me! LOL. The view on the tee box of the black tee tips on #13 was the best view that I have ever seen on a golf hole. (Pun intended), my best tip is to club down, and swing 3/4. The height of the ball coming down, and the greens sticking well will allow you to drop a dart! That will forever be the best birdie 2 I will ever achieve in golf. You all should be proud of the conditions you provide, the amenities available and the service you provide. Feel proud. I will DEFINITELY play again during my next trip to the Smokeys.
Very unique course. Staff was not as friendly as I would expect them to be in such a tourist environment. Price was a little higher than I would have expected. We still had a great time and there are some nice views from the back 9.
The Highlands course is a beautiful majestic track that ventures through the mountains, challenging course with some forgiveness. Greens roll true, staff and starters were very friendly , cart girls where always around when needed.
Both 18's are awesome to play... The river has all kinds of water and is longer than the highlands which is more hilly. Both are a challenge, but a wonderful 36 holes.
