Played for the first time today. Weather wasn’t great, pretty wet and greens were recently worked on. With all that said, absolutely loved it! Love the layout of the river course, super fun, challenging, but not to the point that a weekend player can’t get around. All the staff I encountered were great, carts were fantastic, food was delicious. The course is an hour and forty minutes from me, but it’s a drive a plan to make again.

I play golf almost every weekend so I know my fair share of a good/great golf course. This coarse was awful minimum $30 is what they should charge, fairways was bald in spots and mud coming through. If I pay $80 everything should be top notch. If your coming from out of town and expecting to play a great course don’t play the river course. My crew was not happy.

We visited the golf course 5/1/23 and played 18 holes. Very friendly cart staff and workers on the course, very courteous. I was quite disappointed in the fact that we were charged full price $79 for a course that just completed aeration a few days earlier. We have golfed throughout the country at many prestigious courses and country clubs. To be charged a full rate for the early season condition of the course and the greens being truly unplayable due to the aeration is not satisfactory.
Even more disappointing is the fact we were not made aware of the aeration at the time of booking our tee time or when paying for our round. It wasn’t until we were loaded and met the starter was anything mentioned. Had we known we likely would have played another course. Sent an email to the course and rec’d no response. Spend your money elsewhere.
Disappointing round indeed.

Had some time to hit some. Sevierville was recommended by another course. Excellent practice facilities and staff were great. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I played Sevierville Golf Club on Tuesday May 9th, 2023, in order to get a tee time online I had to create an account then select a tee time, nowhere on the tee time page was there a green fee price for the round, so I was a little annoyed when I get to the course and the round is 79 dollars. After I pay the fees there is no mention that the course received a lot of rain the night before and was a sloppy unplayable mess on the River course then to make it even worse, the greens had been sanded and punched the past week. It would have been nice to have been told all of that before I paid 79 bucks to play golf Ina swamp and sand trap. Not a good first experience and probably will not return to play.
