It's been years since I've had a chance to eat at Shoneys! The food was good. The server was friendly. The prices were very high. $15 for a ham and cheese sandwich and $8 for dessert. Both were delicious but we will just go have steak somewhere next time.

Never ate at any Shoneys before so we thought we'd give it a try. Wife and I had the salad bar. Best thing on it was the lettuce. The rest was not good at all. My son had the kids spaghetti. The red flag for me should have been the brown tomato sauce on it. Well, in less than 2 hours he had stomach pains and threw it up. Luckily my daughter didn't eat much of hers, so she hasn't gotten sick yet. I'll add also that he didn't eat anything other than that spaghetti.
To top it off, 4 of us was $60! That's two kids meals and two adult salad bars. Save yourself the money (and your stomach) and eat elsewhere!

To be fair we went around 8pm on a weeknight, but if the doors are open and they are still taking customers we would expect good food to be served. We had 2 salad, soup and fruit bars (NOT THE HOT BAR), 2 had burgers (1 kid's and 1 All American, 1 said it was greasy but other than that it was good), and 1 fried chicken sandwich (tasted good with BBQ sauce). Took about 30 minutes from ordering to be served with food from the kitchen.
This location had a "sticky" feel to it, not dirty but not clean. *Our server was good and friendly, only real positive.

After a long day of having fun in Pigeon Forge we stopped in and had an amazing waitress. Ms. Danielle is great! Always have to give spotlight to good service! Keep her at all cost!

All of the Shoney's near my home have closed. So it was great to see a good ol Shoney's while on vacation.
The breakfast bar was exactly what we remember. Hasn't changed 1 bit and that is just how I wanted it.
Actually enjoyed it, maybe for nostalgic reasons, but it's Shoney's breakfast bar for goodness sake what's not to like?
