Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse has become a Knoxville favorite for exceptional sushi and hibachi-style steaks and as such, has continually been awarded recognition as one of the top Japanese restaurants in the area by the Knoxville News-Sentinal's annual East Tennessee's Bay and the Knoxville Metro Pulse's Best of the Best.
It’s a show and dinner all together. I went with my husband, 6&8yo daughters, my mom and mother in law when my mom was visiting from out of town. Our chef was funny and talented. The food was delicious. My kids loved it. They thought it was so fun to watch the chef cook while we were eating and the food was tasty. What’s not to love? I am not sure why the rating here is so low. The ribeye steak was legit, one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. I didn’t even order it and was trying my husbands next to me and it was so good I decided I would get it next time we come. Everything tasted great and we had fun. Great place to eat with the family, even young children!
Very entertaining way to eat dinner. Very good Hibachi grill type of dinner. Everyone gets a shrimp appetizer, soup, and salad. A large amount of rice and ample portions of veggies and your protein choices.
It's always a great place to eat. Can be pricy if you get a lot of different stuff, but it's worth the price. Since the last time we came they have started adding onions and green peppers to the chicken, so make sure you ask to not have that if you get the chicken and don't want it.
Was pretty good for my first visit. Huge portions! Couldn't finish it all. Everything tasted great. Lunch outing with some friends. With the exception of the rice everything else was fantastic. Am just used to Chinese fried rice But was still okay. Loved our cook. He was so fun and did an awesome job!
Good service, food came out quick. Clean environment and music wasn't obnoxiously loud. Food was good but not as good as Kobe's or some other hibachi restaurants I've been too. I had the chicken dinner entree.
