The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame is an interactive international museum dedicated to all levels of women’s basketball. Explore the history of the game, test your skills and have some fun on our ballcourts. Come “Honor the Past, Celebrate the Present and Promote the Future” of women’s basketball at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame.
As you enter the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Pat Summitt Rotunda, the first thing you see is the iconic statue. This 17-foot bronze statue exemplifies our mission to “honor the past, celebrate the present, and promote the future” of women’s basketball. Each inductee receives a replica of this statue upon their induction into the Hall of Fame.
In the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, you can test your basketball skills on three different courts, a timed dribbling course, and a passing skills area. There is also a photo area where you can pretend to be different players throughout history.
Love every moment of the ENTIRE WEWKEND! Celebrations for the five women inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. It was amazing!! The #WBHOF Museum is definitely a must-see when you get to Knoxville, TN. (Also UT, Coach Pat Summit's statue). The HERSTORY of Women's Basketball is dripping everywhere!!
What a wonderful experience to go to the women's basketball hall of fame. They have so much on display and you will get the history of the game as well as learning something new every time you go. Exhibits chang so you can go back often and even shoot a little hoop! The gift shop is awesome and I just want to buy everything in it lol. Admission price is pretty low so no reason not to go.
Great tribute to the many stars of Women's Basketball! We enjoyed the indoor courts as well. The young guy who started our tour was very knowledgeable and seem to enjoy his job!
Average. Lots to look at but not much interaction except for the hoops. Great history of the game and a few notable artifacts.
I took my daughters who love women's basketball. We drove 90 minutes and had to really use the bathroom. As we passed the ticket window to run to the bathrooms just ahead, we were rudely yelled at and scolded. There was no one there and only exit was the same door..were we really trying to cheat the admission? The woman, evidently, the boss, was coarse and cold during our entry purchase . They have several video exhibits that were evidently down due to the storm the night before. Would've been nice to be told that before collecting our money especially since one of them was a 25 min main video introduction. After touring n shooting, we had a great time and luckily that lady was gone and R. Lee saved the day. He was so generous and friendly and made us feel welcomed and even knew how to bypass the tech and let us watch a really good 25 min video. THANKS R. LEE!!
